Lila Blue is a singer songwriter from New York City who moved to the Bay area in 2011. At just 14 years old, Lila Blue has proven herself to be an accomplished recording artist, theatrical composer, and multi-instrumentalist. She started writing songs at the age of 8, inspired by Patti Smith, Joni Mitchell, and Regina Spektor, and plays the ukulele, bass, and guitar. From the ages of 10-14 she composed music for an experimental theatre collective, The Lake Lucille Chekhov Project. Out of that experience, she conceptualized and recorded her first album, Lucille, released in October 2014 and available on iTunes. The album was produced by Steve Lomprey at the renowned San Francisco studio, Tiny Telephone.
